Originally from the panhandle of Florida, I have had a few different careers over the years. After serving in the Navy and traveling the world, I retired in 2018 and started exploring new career paths again. However, it wasn't until the lockdowns that I rediscovered my love for photography and videography.
During that time, I developed a keen interest in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and obtained my Part 107 Certification from the FAA. This allowed me to explore landscapes, cities, and other places from a new perspective, making me more appreciative of the beauty in the world around us. Shortly after relocating to Maryland, I decided to use my GI Bill to pursue a degree in Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
I then went on to become a proctor with the Airborne Public Safety Association (ASPA), utilizing the National Institute of Science and Technologies (NIST) sUAS test methods and NIST Lane Proficiency Evaluation for Remote Pilots. Additionally, I earned certificates in Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Safety Level 1 & 2, and Advanced Safety Certificates Level 1 & 2 with USI.
Let’s press record on your next project together.
